This is Your Cup of Tea!

It's Anniversary Part Duex

As we approach the second anniversary of Bundts & Crumpets Specialty Tea, I realize that last year around this time was the last time I posted a blog piece. I've got to do better if I'm going to be a blogger, lol. This past year has been a roller coaster ride as we continue to build a brand that people are growing to love. This last year we went on two incredibly sweet journeys for Comcast as we hand delivered our sweet cupcakes to appreciative employees at all 46 Comcast stores in California. We had the privilege of participating in Super Bowl 50 with our delicious banana pudding in tow and received amazing feedback from lucky fans who were invited to Roger Goodell's exclusive tailgating event. We had numerous pop up events, began vending at the San Ramon Farmer's Market and even had the opportunity to show appreciation and gratitude to one of my favorite NeoSoul groups Floetry. During this time I somehow manage to find the time, strength, energy, and fortitude to study for the California State Bar Exam and passed!!! I have a lot to be thankful for because the second year was a challenging one as we continue to work out the growing pains and seek out the best direction for Bundts & Crumpets Specialty Tea.

As we venture into our third year of business we will be experiencing some changes, the result of our hard work that will enable our new and current customers to have better access to Bundts & Crumpets Specialty Tea and our services. Yes, the Bundts & Crumpets Specialty Tea Pop Up Retail Experience is coming and it's coming soon. Not only will we have a physical location for all of your tea enjoyment but we will also begin hosting our own series of events showcasing our love for high tea. Our first high tea event will be a fundraiser in memory of my sister Melanie Ashley Dunn. I'm hoping this event will bring awareness to domestic violence, one of the biggest threats to women and to empower those who attend to be change makers in their communities. We are also a sponsor for Chest of Hope's Love Walk-a-Thon, a walk to come together and take a stand against domestic violence. Chest of Hope is a non-profit organization that provides resources for domestic violence victims and gives them the opportunity to get out. The walk takes place on October 1st and you can register or make a donation to Chest of Hope at www.chestofhope.org.

On October 23rd we will be showcasing our teas and desserts at the Urban Beauty and Wellness Event hosted at the Impact Hub in Oakland by the Urban Beauty Network. This event will be an afternoon of shopping, education, entertainment and delicious hors d’oeuvres and beverages. For tickets visit http://UrbanBeautyEvents.com and use Promo Code: UBN2016 to receive 20% off the ticket price.

Yes, the beginning of our third year will begin with a bang and will be a game changer for us and I am very excited to share this journey with our customers and friends and I thank you all for your support. You don't know how much it all means to me.
